If you are having difficulties finding what you are looking for with the Creative Commons search, we recommend the following:
1. Try using quotations around your search keywords if it is more than one word. This will search for the exact phrase. For example, enter "cape chestnut" instead of cape chestnut.
2. Try searching the scientific name of the species you are searching for. For example, instead of "water lily", try searching "nymphaeaceae" Remember that you can find most species' names by looking them up on Wikipedia!
3. Don’t hesitate to use our quick access button “Scientific Name” which will appear at the top of the list of search results.
4. If none of the above work, check out our list of resources provided in the Best Practices Manual for Parks and Places & Spaces or our New Agent Manual for formal education.
