If you are not able to find a Mission you created in the Mission Maker in the app, there are multiple troubleshooting methods you can try to resolve this issue. Follow the steps below in the order they are written.
Make sure you Mission is published in the Mission Maker
In order for you Mission to be visible in the Mission list in the app, it needs to first be published in the Mission Maker. To publish a Mission in the Mission Maker, follow these steps:
- Log into https://mm.agentsofdiscovery.com with your Mission Maker account.
- On the sidebar, select "My Missions".
- Search for your Mission by using the search bar in the top right corner of the "My Missions" page.
- Once you find your Mission in the list of Missions, click the "Publish" button.
Note: To ensure all players can see your Mission, make sure that "Preview Mode" is not enabled.
Refresh the Missions List
It is important to always refresh the Mission List in the app to make sure you have an up-to-date list of published Missions available for you to play. To refresh the Mission List, follow these steps:
- Open the Agents of Discovery app on your mobile device.
- Select the "Missions" button.
- Select the refresh button located in the top right corner of the screen.
Make sure you are using the correct account
Agents of Discovery has different types of accounts which are used for different types of customers and players. Sometimes the type of account you are using with the mobile app can cause some Missions to not be visible in the Mission List. Below are some things to try if the above troubleshooting methods do not resolve your issue.
If you are a teacher or student playing at school
Students are intended to have Content Creator accounts created for them by a teacher using the Mission Maker. When playing the mobile app, you should login with the account that was created by your teacher. This way, students are able to see the Missions that the teacher has created.
If you are playing at a park or other recreational area
You have two options when playing at a park or other recreational area. Below are two ways to play.
Play as a guest
- Open the Agents of Discovery app on your mobile device.
- Select the "My Missions" button.
Note: Playing as a guest does not save any of your progress after closing the app.
Sign in to an existing account
If you have already created an Agents of Discovery app account, or have a Mission Maker account, you can use it to sign into the app.
- Open the Agents of Discovery app on your mobile device.
- Select the "Login" button.
- Enter your Username and Password.
- Select "Login".
Note: If you are a student, do not use your school account to play outside of school.
